The board is working on a voluntary basis, and we have a secretary getting paid on an hourly basis. The yearly fee is presently 15 000 NOK and should cover costs for member meetings, travel expenses for board members and invited speakers, intranet and webpage, consultancy costs, legal advice.

Nordic Association of Electricity Traders - NAET represents companies trading power in the Nordic market and we strive to achieve the common interest of a Nordic power market that functions well in all respects.

NAET is represented in Nord Pools Market Council and Product Group where we try to influence the development of the function of the market. The board is represented by traders and trading managers in member companies. NAET has biannual member meetings, the annual meeting in the springtime, and an autumn meeting in the fall. We always strive to bring up exciting and relevant themes and invite interesting speakers. During the meetings, company representatives (traders) get a chance to raise their voice and discuss related issues and meet a large part of the Nordic Power market.
