Since co-founding Nord Pool in 1993, Hans Randen has played an essential role in developing cross-border power markets globally. His extensive experience includes positions at Norwegian Power Pool, Statnett, and Nasdaq, contributing to his deep understanding of the electricity sector.

As part of the Executive Leadership Team, Hans is responsible for Public Affairs, Communication, and Marketing. He engages with stakeholders to drive regulatory changes and enhance Nord Pool’s brand as a trusted partner in the energy sector.

Karol Nicia has over 15 years of experience within energy business: in terms of EU and Nordic energy wholesale market, project management, as well as energy production, asset optimization and maintenance - including 10 years in depth expertise, working at Nord Pool, with intraday physical electricity market development. Comfortable with electricity market design challenges and have extensive network among energy professionals both within Nordics and EU. Genuinely passionate with renewable energy shift’.
